NISSAN QASHQAI: The Ultimate Driving Machine

NISSAN QASHQAI: The Ultimate Driving Machine

The Nissan Qashqai, the car equivalent to the Beatles, is the Nissan Qashqai. Although it wasn’t the first SUV-shaped vehicle to be created, the British-built Nissan was a huge success, becoming a platinum-certified smash hit.

There’s a new model, and it is very popular. However, there are some important changes. It gets a new front-end, with a prominent, larger V-shaped grille. On the range-topping models, snazzy alloys of 20 inches are featured. Sharp new LED headlights and creased bodywork have been also added.

The cabin, which was once a dull and boring place to spend your time, has also been updated. The higher-spec models come with a lot of premium upholstery and some neat trim material. This is a much more sophisticated environment than before. Furthermore, if you want to sell car then review some of outstanding deals with us.

Nissan has been committed to safety since its inception. The new Qashqai is no exception. You can find the high-tech ProPilot safety technology here. One key feature is Navilink, an advanced form of autonomous cruise control that can slow down the car and allow it to move away in busy motorway traffic.

However, Navi-link is not available on CVT-equipped vehicles. The range includes blind spot assistance and autonomous emergency braking (AEB). Manual cars receive a basic adaptive cruise controller right out of the box.

The Qashqai’s new model is extremely comfortable on bumps. The light steering and visibility make it easy to navigate around town and park. If you choose the 20-inch alloys, there will be some tyre roaring on the motorway. However, it is incredibly relaxing at cruise speed. Be aware that the CVT model can get a little loud if you really try to put your foot down.

NISSAN QASHQAI INTERIOR The Nissan Qashqai interior features an impressively modern infotainment system with two screens: one for the driver and one for the passenger. While we still prefer the 3008, the interior of the Qashqai is definitely a step up.

The front is spacious, but the most important thing is that there’s plenty of space for passengers. It is easy to get in and out of the car thanks to its wide doors. Although the boot is large, there are other options such as the Volkswagen Tiguan which have more storage. It is a well-rounded, practical family car.

The Nissan Qashqai is more expensive, we would choose the 156hp model with the two-wheel drive and CVT gearbox. The car is smooth and easy to maneuver around town and the fuel economy doesn’t suffer much. You can also review Used cars near me.

Engine, 0-60mph gearbox In Nissan Qashqai there are two petrol engines of 1.3-litres available. Both have mild hybrid technology. What does this mean in English? It means that the starter motor of the Nissan Qashqai can also be used as a generator. This allows it to capture energy that would otherwise have been lost while slowing down to charge small batteries. The starter motor then switches roles and uses the energy it has captured to help the petrol engine at low speeds, improve fuel economy, and assist with the acceleration.

Two 1.3-litre petrol engines are available with either 138hp, or 156hp. Both have mild-hybrid assist for a slight increase in fuel efficiency. You can choose between an automatic CVT gearbox or four-wheel drive, but the default is a 6-speed manual gearbox. The future will also include a 187hp electric-hybrid model.

If the revs are below 1500rpm, the 156bhp option (called DIG-T 158) will be languid. You will need to wait for a while before you feel any acceleration. However, once it arrives, it won’t throw you off your seat. To get 0-60 mph in 9.9 seconds, it’s better to lower the gear. It’s comparable to the Skoda Karoq1.5 TSI 150 in performance and can get you past slower cars on A roads safely and at high speeds on motorways. You can also review Used car for sale

The DIG-T 140 version with 138bhp is less expensive and pulls almost as well at low revs. It isn’t something we have tried yet but it was our favorite engine in the previous Qashqai. We think that it will continue to be our favorite engine with this model – at least until 2022 when the hybrid ePower model arrives. Find Nissan X Trail for sale at GoodAutoDeals.
